Industry Night
Recap of our 1/30/23 meeting:
Preston and Colleen, our academic industry coordinators for the department to spoke. They walked through steps to writing a cover letter and building a resume tailored to different applications. Great opportunity for those who plan to attend the career fair, and apply for internships.
What to do over the summer
Recap of our 2/6/23 meeting:
We talked about "What to do over the summer." Whether this means internships, REUs, or Co-ops, studying abroad programs, and other opportunities that will help you when you transition to BME. We also covered how to prepare for the upcoming Spring'23 career fair
Headshots and Branding
Recap of our 3/6/23 meeting:
We had a brief "How to" session on LinkedIn. We talked about how to get started with LinkedIn and maximize the use of the app to your benefit. This included branding techniques, general tips on how to attract recruiters, and post quality content to your page.

Mental Health Night

Given the tragic incidents that have occurred recently we hosted a mental health night. We wanted to take this opportunity to take a mental health break and connect you all with the resources to help you and others struggling with mental health challenges.
Alumni Panel Notes

We hosted an alumni panel of recent BME graduates who went into industry, graduate school, and medical school.
Research Mixer
